Box Office: Dear Zindagi 7th Day Collection, Earns 47 Cr Total in 1 Week

7 Days Total Collection of ‘Dear Zindagi’ across India

Last Friday released Hindi drama movie Dear Zindagi has completed its one week journey at box office on a strong note. Despite the cash problem raised due to demonetization in the country, the movie had registered excellent business in weekend and also remained steady in weekdays.

Everyone loved this Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer very much. Both of them have given brilliant performances in the movie as always. Especially the emotion queen Alia, who once again proved her acting skills and left a strong impact over viewers. Director Gauri Shinde is also being appreciated for such beautiful execution, her last directorial project was English-Vinglish, that too has received such positive reviews.

Being highly star powered and promoted, Dear Zindagi started its journey excellently and reported the business of 32.50 crores in the opening weekend, that was included 8.75 crores of Friday, 11.25 crores of Saturday and 12.50 crores of Sunday. Due to positive word of mouth, it had good hold over audience in weekdays too.

On Monday, Red Chillies & Dharma’s this collaborated venture witnessed around 50% of drop than Friday and did the decent business of 4.25 crores. Then with further decrements in its business, the movie minted the amount of 4 crores on Tuesday and 3.25 crores on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Dear Zindagi recorded little more drop than previous day and added the amount of 3 crores to its account, which has made its one week total as 47 crores on domestic box office. From the next week, it has to compete with new offering Kahaani 2 stars Vidya Balan & Arjun Rampal. So far SRK-Alia starrer is expected to rake good in this weekend, let see what will happen.
