Box Office: Dhruva (Telugu) 6th Day Collection, Ram Charan starrer Heading Smoothly

6 Days Total Collection of Surender Reddy’s Dhruva

Tollywood’s very promising director Surender Reddy’s recent offering Dhruva is heading smoothly on box office across the Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. With overwhelmed response of audience and very positive reviews of critics, this action thriller registered excellent opening in the weekend. Not only in India, but from international market too the movie reported quite impressive performance.

Dhruva is an official remake of 2015’s Tamil movie Thani Oruvan and being superstar Ram Charan & Rakul Preet Singh starrer, it was released with immense excitement of fans. The actor has impressed everyone by giving wonderful performance as an IPS officer in the movie. All these positive reactions, have created strong word of mouth about it and attracting more audience toward theaters.

In the opening weekend, Dhruva recorded terrific occupancy through out and did the business of 21.75 crores from 825 screen of AP/T, which was included 10.50 crores of Friday, 5 crores of Saturday and 6.25 crores of Sunday. Now it is running in weekdays but still has good hold over audience. On Monday, it raked the business of 3 crores with around 40% of drop than Saturday. Then on Tuesday, the movie added the amount of 2.50 crores to its account.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, with further drop Dhruva scored around 2.05 crores* and made its 6 days total collection as 29.30 crores* from AP/T. In USA, the movie was released on 200 screens and reported quite excellent business of 6.84 crores till Tuesday.
