9 Days Total Collection of Telugu Movie ‘Dhruva’

After worldwide box office, much awaited recent Telugu offering Dhruva has now crossed the milestone of 50 crore on domestic box office. Superstar Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh starrer this action thriller was released last week with huge excitement of fans and witnessed overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as international market. Because of high dose of thrill, the movie has received very positive reviews from critics also.

All these favorable reactions, resulted in excellent business of Dhruva so far. In the opening weekend, Surender Reddy’s directorial recorded around 80% of occupancy and did the business of 21.75 crores, including 10.50 crores of Friday, 5 crores of Saturday and 6.25 crores of Sunday. In weekdays, the move faced usual drop but remained steady and managed to collect the amount of 3 crores on Monday, 2.50 crores on Tuesday, 2.05 crores on Wednesday and 1.45 crore on Thursday.

After the opening week, total collection of Dhruva was recorded as 30.75 crores from Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. Reportedly the movie has raked around 8 crores from Karnataka and 10 crores from rest of India. Now only from the India but in USA market also, it has received quite impressive response and registered the business of 7.15 crores in one week from there.

Now this Telugu remake of 2015’s Tamil movie Thani Oruvan is running in its second week and still has enough hold over audience. On its 2nd Friday, Dhruva faced some drop than previous day and added the amount of 1.25 crore to its account. Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, with almost similar response the movie minted the amount of 1.15 crore* and made its 9 days total collection as 33.15 crores* on AP/T box office.
