Box Office: Dishoom 11th Day Collection, Crosses 64.50 Cr Total till 2nd Monday

Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s third venture of the year, Dishoom has surpassed the lifetime total of Udta Punjab (60.30 crores) with the end of its second weekend and become 8th highest grossing movie of the year so far. With this, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has hit the hat-trick of three successful movies in a row after Baaghi & Housefull 3.

Being John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Dishoom has been released with good hype among fans as well as audience. Unfortunately it has not received much positive reviews from critics but audience reacted in favor of it and dragged it to the safe side.

In the opening week, Rohit Dhawan’s directorial recorded almost good occupancy and did the business of 53.34 crores with 37.32 crores of weekend and 16.02 crores of weekdays on domestic box office. From overseas too, the movie reported quite decent business of 20.06 crores in first week.

Now it is running in the second week and due to no big release, the movie did the business of 10.05 crores in the weekend including 2.30 crores of Friday, 3.40 crores of Saturday and 4.35 crores of Sunday. After the second weekend, total domestic collection of Dishoom was recorded as 63.39 crores.

Once again, the movie is in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser response than before. On its 2nd Monday, it reported more than 45% of drop than last Friday and added the amount of 1.30 crore to its account. With this, 11 days total collection of Dishoom has become 64.69 crores across India.
