Box Office: Dishoom 13th Day Collection, Crosses 66.50 Cr Total till 2nd Wednesday

Last week’s Hindi offering Dishoom is about to complete its 2 weeks journey on box office. So far the movie has witnessed decent response from audience across the country and become 8th highest grossing movie of the year by surpassing the lifetime total of Udta Punjab. This is the third venture of producer Sajid Nadiadwala after Baaghi and Housefull 3 in this year, with this it has hit the hat-trick of successful movies.

Being John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer, Dishoom has been released with good buzz among fans as well as audience and as expected received satisfactory response through out in the opening week. In its first week, Dishoom recorded almost good occupancy and did the business of 53.34 crores on domestic box office, including 37.32 crores of weekend and 16.02 crores of weekdays.

Now the movie is running in the second week and due to no big release, it minted the amount of 11.05 crores in the weekend. This consisted of 2.30 crores on Friday, 3.40 crores on Saturday and 4.35 crores on Sunday. After the second weekend, total collection of Rohit Dhawan’s directorial was recorded as 63.39 crores domestically.

Now once again, the movie is running in weekdays and getting lesser occupancy due to normal working days. On Monday, it raked the business of 1.30 crore with 45% of drop than last Friday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it collected 1.21 crore.

On Wednesday, it reported slight more drop and added the amount of 1.08 crore to its account. With this, total 13 days collection of Dishoom has become 66.98 crores on Indian box office. The movie is likely to do the business of more than 67.50 crores by the end of this week.
