Box Office: Dishoom 15th Day Collection, Crosses 68 Cr Total till 3rd Friday

Couple of weeks back released action-adventure Hindi offering Dishoom witnessed good response in the opening week across India. In the second week it slowed down by usual rate but managed to secure decent business total. With the support of fans and favorable reactions of audience, it has emerged as the 8th highest grossing movie of the year so far.

Rohit Dhawan’s directorial Dishoom received mixed reviews from critics but still the movie reported satisfactory performance on box office. Not only in India but from UAE too, it has done decent business so far. This is the third venture of producer Sajid Nadiadwala in this year after the successful movies Baaghi and Housefull 3. With the latest one, he has hit the hat-trick.

In the opening week, with almost decent occupancy Dishoom did the business of total 53.34 crores including 37.32 crores of weekend and 16.02 crores of weekdays. In the second week, due to no big release it maintained a decent pace and raked the business of 14.63 crores including 10.05 crores of weekend and 4.58 crores of weekdays.

After two weeks, total collection of Dishoom was recorded as 67.97 crores net on domestic box office. Now the movie has entered in its third weekend and facing heavy competition due to two new much awaited movies- Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.

On Friday, it noticed more than 50% of drop from previous day and added the amount of 0.51 crore to its account. With this, total 15 days collection of Dishoom has become 68.48 crores across the country. It won’t be easy for the movie to receive even an average response on box office in opposite to new releases.
