Box Office: Dishoom 4th Day Collection, Passes Monday Trial with Decent Performance

This Friday released action-adventure Hindi offering Dishoom passed its opening weekend trial on a good note. Being one of the much awaited movies of the year, it has been released with good screens count and buzz worldwide. As expected it received almost good response from audience and registered 6th highest opening day & opening weekend collection of the year.

Rohit Dhawan’s directorial this movie features the handsome hunk John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez. All the stars have high fan following among audience and their star power is the major reason which is attracting audience towards theaters. Unfortunately Dishoom has received mixed reviews from critics but audience reacted in favor of it.

On the opening day, Dishoom recorded 40% of occupancy across the country and did the business of 11.05 crores which is the 6th highest opening of the year so far. On Saturday, being weekend it witnessed decent growth in its business and minted the amount of 12.02 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie reported higher response than last 2 days and raked the business of 14.25 crores.

After a weekend, total collection of Dishoom was recorded as 37.32 crores which is 6th highest opening weekend collection of the year after Sultan, Fan, Housefull 3, Airlift & Baaghi. Now the movie has entered in weekdays and witnessed almost 56% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 4.85 crores net (6.74 crores gross) to its account. With this, its 4 days net total collection has become 42.17 crores.
