Box Office: Dishoom 7th Day Total Collection, Registers 6th Highest Opening Week of 2016

7 Days Total Collection of John Abraham’s Dishoom

Last Friday released action-adventure film Dishoom completes its opening week journey with a good business total. It received favorable response from audience and registered good start in the opening weekend. After that it started witnessing lesser occupancy but still managed to end the week on an almost good note.

This is the third venture of producer of Sajid Nadiadwala in this year after Baaghi & Housefull 3, being highly promoted and good star powered the latest one has been released with much buzz across the globe and as expected reported good start despite mixed reviews from critics.

In the opening weekend, it recorded the occupancy of 40-50% across the country and registered the records of 6th highest opening and opening weekend collection of the year. The film did the business of 37.32 crores in the weekend including 11.05 crores of Friday, 12.02 crores of Saturday and 14.25 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, Dishoom recorded abrupt fall in its occupancy but maintained almost steady pace. On Monday, it faced the drop of 56% than Friday and did the business of 4.85 crores. With more drops, it minted the amount of 4.30 crores on Tuesday and 3.67 crores on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the film reported more drop and added the amount of 3.20 crores to its account. With this, one week total collection of Dishoom has become 53.34 crores on domestic box office, which is the 6th highest opening week collection of the year so far after Sultan, Airlift, Housefull 3, Fan & Baaghi.
