Box Office: Freaky Ali 4th Day Collection, Looses Hold over Audience

4 Days Total Collection of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Freaky Ali

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s recent offering Freaky Ali has witnessed lower response than earlier expectations in the opening weekend. Being backed by superstar Salman Khan, it was positively expected to perform better on box office but it recorded very low occupancy in theaters. Due to adjacent release Baar Baar Dekho, Freaky Ali remained the second choice of audience.

Sohail Khan’s directorial this sports romantic-comedy had gained good pre-release buzz among audience because of the very promising trailer. That was the reason it was expected to affect the performance of Sidharth Malhotra & Katrina Kaif’s Baar Baar Dekho. After the release, Freaky Ali received favorable response from critics as well as audience but still remained on floor due to dull occupancy.

In the opening weekend, it reported slow start and did the business of only 8.50 crores, which includes 2.55 crores of Friday, 2.85 crores of Saturday and 3.10 crores of Sunday. Due to positive reaction of audience, it was expected to show impressive growth on Saturday and Sunday, but nothing happened in that way.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays and as usual started getting lesser occupancy than weekend. On Monday, it witnessed almost 40% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 1.50 crore to its account. With this total 4 days collection of Freaky Ali has become 10 crores on domestic box office.
