Box Office: Freaky Ali 5th Day Collection, Shows Slight Jump due to Eid Holiday

5 Days Total Collection of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Freaky Ali

Sohail Khan’s directorial Freaky Ali has received favorable response from viewers as well as critics but still witnessed low occupancy through out the weekend than earlier expectations. Despite being backed by superstar Salman Khan, it is not able to perform even decently across the country.

The reason behind this, is the lesser number of screens and the adjacent big release Baar Baar Dekho, which itself not performing well on box office but due to higher star power remained the first choice of audience. As per critics, Freaky Ali’s lead actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has done brilliant acting as always but his performance is also not able to attract audience toward theaters.

In the opening weekend, this sports romantic-comedy reported very low occupancy and did the business of only 8.50 crores, which includes 2.55 crores of Friday, 2.85 crores of Saturday and 3.10 crores of Sunday. Due to positive reaction of audience, it was expected to show impressive growth on Saturday and Sunday, but it didn’t happened.

Now Freaky Ali is running in weekdays and as usual started getting lesser occupancy than weekend. On Monday, it faced almost 40% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 1.50 crore. On Tuesday due to Eid holiday, it showed slight rise in its occupancy and added the amount of 2 crores to its account. With this 5 days total collection of the movie has become 12 crores on domestic box office.
