Box Office: Half Girlfriend & Hindi Medium 8th Day Collection, Remain Steady

Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium 8 Days Total Collection

Last week’s offerings from Bollywood, Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium passed the opening week on a good note. Now both the movies have entered in their second weekend and getting decent response at box office, despite the newly released much awaited Sachin- A Billion Dreams.

After registering the good business in the opening weekend, Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend showed decent performance in the weekdays. From 2500 screens across the country, it bagged the amount of 49.19 crores nett in the opening week, that included 32.04 crores of weekend and 17.15 crores of weekdays.

While Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer comedy drama Hindi Medium took decent opening but picked up well over the weekend due to positive word of mouth. In weekdays too, it remained steady and garnered the business of 25.21 crores in the first week, with 12.56 crores of weekend and 12.65 crores of weekdays.

Now both Mohit Suri and Saket Chaudhary’s directorial movies have entered in the second weekend and still showing decent performance. On 2nd Friday, Half Girlfriend witnessed around 49% of drop and minted the amount of 1.76 crores to raised it’s 8 days domestic total to 50.95 crores.

While Hindi Medium recorded around 10% of drop and raked the business of 2.82 crores on it’s 2nd Friday and made it’s 8 days total collection as 28.03 crores on domestic box office. Both seem to stay decent over the second weekend, as Sachin- A Billion Dreams is running strongly.
