Box Office: Hindi Medium 20th Day Collection, Earns Over 57 Crore Total across India

Hindi Medium Total Collection in 20 Days at Domestic Box Office

Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer comedy drama Hindi Medium started it’s journey on a decent note, but picked up well from the second day and emerged as the biggest unexpected hit of the year in Hindi cinema so far. Despite new offerings, it still has enough hold over the audience in it’s third week.

Due to it’s relevant content and marvelous performances of the entire starcast, Hindi Medium received huge appreciation from audience as well as critics. As a result, Saket Chaudhary’s directorial remained steady throughout it’s journey so far at box office.

Hindi Medium was released on 19th May opposite to much awaited Half Girlfriend, despite clash it maintained good pace and fetched the business of 25.21 crores. This included 12.56 crores of weekend and 12.65 crores of weekdays from 1126 screens across the country.

In the second week, despite new release Sachin A Billion Dreams Irrfan Khan starrer remained strong and did the business of 20.88 crores with 12.14 crores in weekend and 8.74 crores in weekdays. While adjacent release Half Girlfriend reported only 9.52 crores of business.

Now Hindi Medium is running in the third week and due to good word of mouth it enjoyed the weekend thoroughly. In it’s third weekend, the movie collected 7.51 crores from 773 screens, that included 1.76 crore of Friday, 2.75 crores of Saturday and 3 crores of Sunday.

Once again, T-Series Films’ this presentation is in weekdays and heading steadily despite running in normal working days. With around 26% of drop than last Friday, it minted 1.30 crore on Monday and 1.31 crore on Tuesday.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Hindi Medium recorded slight drop and collected 1.25 crore to make it’s 20 days domestic total as 57.46 crores nett. It seems to rake around 58.50 crores total with the end of this week.
