7 Days Total Collection of Vikram’s Iru Mugan
Chiyaan Vikram’s much awaited offering of the year, Iru Mugan has been released on 8 September worldwide with around 1000 screens in Tamil & Telugu languages. As expected it has witnessed impressive response from audience so far and heading smoothly across the country, especially in its dominated region Tamil Nadu.
Sci-fi action thriller Iru Mugan enjoyed 4-days extended weekend thoroughly and added excellent business figures to its account from Tamil state. Unfortunately the movie has not received much positive reviews from critics, but this has not resulted in negative. Due to immense excitement of fans as well as audience, Vikram starrer has dragged itself to a safe & reputed side.
In the opening 4-days weekend, Anand Shankar’s directorial did the business of total 18.50 crores including 5.25 crores of Thursday, 4.50 crores of Friday, 4 crores of Saturday and 4.75 crores of Sunday. Now it is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser audience than before.
On Monday, Iru Mugan faced almost 40% of drop than Sunday and minted the amount of 3 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday due to Eid holiday, it showed decent rise in its occupancy and collected 3.75 crores. Then on Wednesday, the movie again recorded drop and added the amount of 2.75 crores to its account.
With this 7 days total collection of Iru Mugan has become 28 crores from around 400 screens of Tamil Nadu. From Andhra Pradesh / Telangana and Kerala, it reported the business of 20.75 crores* and 3.65 crores* respectively.
Not only from India but from overseas too, it is getting quite good response and raked approx. 3.75 crores from there so far. Globally it has done the business of more than 70 crores gross in 7 days.
