Box Office: Jattu Engineer 3rd Day Collection, Grosses Over 54 Crore Total with Opening Weekend

Dr. MSG’s latest offering Jattu Engineer is as expected storming at domestic box office and has grossed over 54 crores in the opening weekend. This satirical comedy drama was released on Friday with huge excitement of fans and as expected getting overwhelmed response from them.

Jattu Engineer is the fourth movie of Dr. MSG after MSG- The Messenger Of God (2015), MSG 2- The Messenger (2015) and MSG 3- Lion Heart (2016). Previous three offerings were based on action drama genre, but the latest one is of completely different genre i.e. comedy.

On the opening day, Jattu Engineer recorded amazing occupancy of more than 90% across the country and did the business of 17.10 crores. With this it registered the second highest opening of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s career so far, after 2016’s MSG 3- Lion Heart (18 crores).

On Saturday, the movie remained strong and minted the amount of 17.92 crores with slight growth in footfalls. As per the report from makers, on the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday being public holiday, Jattu Engineer garnered the business of 19.04 crores and made it’s opening weekend gross total as 54.06 crores at domestic box office.

After such massive start, Jattu Engineer seems to remain steady in weekdays too. Despite having the much awaited fresh Hindi movie Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium in opposite, it performed unaffectedly in the opening weekend and still buzzing strongly among fans.
