Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 11th Day Collection, Earns Near 98 Cr Total with 2nd Monday

Last week’s much awaited Hindi offering Jolly LLB 2 has completed its second weekend on a good note and is all set to enter in 100 crore club with one more day. As expected the movie remained strong over this weekend too and successfully dominated all fresh releases of this week.

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s this satirical drama was released with enormous buzz among his fans as well as audience and emerged as the first undoubted hit of year 2017. Because of its good content and wonderful performances by the lead stars, it has impressed all the viewers and received very positive response from critics as well.

Due to strong word of mouth, Subhash Kapoor’s directorial Jolly LLB 2 remained steady throughout the opening week and did the excellent business of 77.71 crores from Indian screens, which was including 50.46 crores of weekend (Fri 13.20cr, Sat 17.31cr, Sun 19.95cr) and 27.25 crores of weekdays (Mon 7.36cr, Tue 9.07cr, Wed 5.89cr, Thu 5.03cr).

Now the movie is running in its second week and enjoyed the weekend thoroughly. On its 2nd Friday, it added the amount of 4.14 crores to its account with little drop. Then on Saturday and Sunday, Jolly LLB 2 showed good growth and minted the amount of 6.35 crores and 7.24 crores respectively.

Once again, Fox Star Studios’ this recent venture is in weekdays and started witnessing lesser footfalls in theaters than before. On 2nd Monday, Jolly LLB 2 faced around 40% of drop than Friday and raked the business of 2.48 crores, which has made its 11 days total collection as 97.92 crores on domestic box office.
