Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 20th Day Collection, Crosses 112 Cr Total till 3rd Wednesday

20 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2

After 2016’s Housefull 3, now director Subhash Kapoor’s recent venture Jolly LLB 2 is all set to surpass the lifetime total of 2014’s Holiday (112.45 crores) and emerge as Akshay Kumar’s fifth highest grossing movie so far after Rowdy Rathore, Airlift, Rustom & Housefull 2. With its meaningful content and wonderful performances by the actors, the movie has impressed everyone including critics.

In the opening week, superstar Akshay Kumar’s this satirical comedy drama reported excellent occupancy throughout and did the business of 77.71 crores, which was including 50.46 crores of weekend and 27.25 crores of weekdays. In the second week too, despite several Hindi offerings, the movie remained strong and registered the business of 26.74 crores with 17.73 crores of weekend and 9.01 crores of weekdays from Indian screens.

Now it is running in the third week and has Rangoon in opposite, which is not performing well actually. Due to positive reactions from audience, Jolly LLB 2 cashed the third weekend on a good note and added the amount of 6.26 crores to its account, which was including 1.75 crore of Friday, 2.01 crores of Saturday and 2.50 crores of Sunday. After 17 days of release, total collection of the movie was recorded as 110.71 crores.

Once again, second installment from the franchise Jolly LLB is in weekdays and asusual getting lesser audience in theaters than before. With around 65% of drop than Friday, it raked the amount of 0.61 crore on Monday and 0.58 crore on Tuesday. With slight more drop, Jolly LLB 2 has minted the amount of 0.54 crore and made its 20 days domestic total as 112.44 crores.
