Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 21st Day Collection, Surpasses Lifetime Total of Holiday in 3 Weeks

21 Days Total Collection of ‘Jolly LLB 2’ across India

With the end of its third week superstar Akshay Kumar’s first offering of the year 2017, Jolly LLB 2 has emerged as the fifth highest grossing movie of his career so far after Rowdy Rathore, Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 2. It was released with immense excitement of fans as well as audience and as expected witnessed very favorable response from all its viewers across the country.

From critics also, Jolly LLB 2 has received very positive reviews and as a result gained strong word of mouth. In its opening week, director Subhash Kapoor’s this satirical comedy drama remained excellent throughout and did the business of 77.71 crores with 50.46 crores of weekend and 27.25 crores of weekdays from Indian screens.

Despite several new Hindi offerings, Jolly LLB 2 successfully kept its pace maintained in the second week and raked the business of 26.74 crores, which was including 17.73 crores of weekend and 9.01 crores of weekdays. In its third week, the movie had newly released Rangoon in opposite, even though it cashed the third weekend on a good note.

Fox Star Studios’ Jolly LLB 2 registered the business of 6.26 crores in the third weekend, with 1.75 crore of Friday, 2.01 crores of Saturday and 2.50 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, asusual it recorded lesser footfalls in theaters than before. With 65% of drop than Friday, the movie managed to collect the amount of 0.61 crore on Monday.

With further declination in its business graph, this second installment from the franchise Jolly LLB added the amount of 0.58 crore on Tuesday and 0.54 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Jolly LLB 2 minted the amount of 0.53 crore and made its 3 weeks domestic total as 112.97 crores. With this, the movie has surpassed the lifetime total of Akshay’s Holiday (112.45 crores).
