Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 23rd Day Collection, Earns 113.85 Cr Total till 4th Saturday in India

23 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2

First offering of superstar Akshay Kumar in this year, Jolly LLB 2 is now heading decently on box office, after showing excellent performance in early weeks. As expected, it has impressed all its viewers and received very positive reviews most of the critics. As a result, the movie gained strong word of mouth and now aiming to surpass the lifetime total of 2012’s Housefull 2 by this weekend.

In the opening week, second installment from the satirical comedy courtroom-drama franchise Jolly LLB witnessed amazing response from audience and garnered the excellent business of 77.71 crores from around 3500 screens in India. Then in the second week too, despite several new offerings the movie remained strong and did the business of 26.74 crores.

In its third week, Jolly LLB 2 had awaited Hindi offering Rangoon of filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj in opposite. But still it managed to register the decent business of 8.52 crores across the country. After 3 weeks, total collection of Akshay starrer was recorded as 112.97 crores on domestic box office. With which, it has emerged as his fifth highest grossing movie so far after Rowdy Rathore, Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 2.

Now Fox Star Studios’ this presentation is running in the fourth week and has newly released Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2 and Hollywood’s Logan in opposite. On its 4th Friday, Jolly LLB 2 witnessed around 30% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 0.35 crore to its account. On the next day i.e. Saturday, it reported little higher and minted the amount of 0.53 crore, made its 23 days domestic total as 113.85 crores.
