Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 27th Day Collection, Akshay Kumar’s Film Crosses 115 Cr Total from India

Jolly LLB 2, the satirical comedy courtroom-drama directed by Subhash Kapoor was released last month February on 10th with immense excitement of superstar Akshay Kumar fans as well as audience. As expected the movie has impressed all its viewers and received very positive reviews from most of the critics. As a result, it performed strongly on box office and emerged as the first clean hit of year 2017.

With very good initial buzz, Jolly LLB 2 started it’s journey on an excellent note. Due to positive reactions, it remained strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 77.71 crores from around 3500 screens across the country. In the second week too, it showed almost steady performance and registered the business of 26.74 crores despite several new Hindi offerings.

In the third week, Akshay Kumar starrer had filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s much anticipated Rangoon in opposite and still minted the decent amount of 8.52 crores. Now the movie is running in its fourth week and despite new action thriller Commando 2 in opposite, Jolly LLB 2 raked the amount of 1.50 crore in the fourth weekend, while Rangoon collected only 0.55 crore.

Once again, the movie is in weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls than before. With around 29% of decline than Friday, it added the amount of 0.25 crore on 4th Monday and 0.21 crore on Tuesday. Then on the next day i.e. Wednesday, Jolly LLB 2 garnered the amount of 0.18 crore and made its 27 days domestic total as 115.11 crores.
