Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 5th Day Collection, Enjoys Higher Response on Valentine’s Day

This Friday release latest Hindi offering Jolly LLB 2 is heading smoothly on box office with strong word of mouth. After an excellent opening weekend, this satirical drama has good hold over the audience in weekdays too. Being superstar Akshay Kumar starrer, the movie has been released with enormous hype among his fans and as expected getting very favorable response from all the viewers.

From critics also, Jolly LLB 2 has received positive reviews and gained good word of mouth. Due to which, Akshay starrer is enjoying steady response in weekdays. With its meaningful content and wonderful performances by the lead stars, the movie has impressed everyone. Audience found it very entertaining and showed big thumbs up to it.

Subhash Kapoor’s directorial started decently on box office but picked up very well over the weekend. On the opening day, with 40% of overall occupancy it did the business of 13.20 crores and registered 8th highest opening of Akshay Kumar‘s career so far. On Saturday, Jolly LLB 2 witnessed impressive growth and minted the amount of 17.31 crores.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday due to public holiday and positive reactions, the movie recorded more higher occupancy and added the amount of 19.95 crores to its account. After the opening weekend, total collection of Jolly LLB 2 was recorded as 50.46 crores on domestic box office. Now the movie is running in weekdays and getting lesser response in theaters than earlier.

On Monday, Fox Star Studios’ recent venture faced 45% of drop than Friday and managed to collect the amount of 7.26 crores. Then on Tuesday it was Valentine’s Day, so the movie reported fair growth of 25%. Although Jolly LLB 2 is not a romantic movie but still it raked the business of 9.07 crores and made its 5 days net domestic total as 66.79 crores.
