Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 8th Day Collection, Earns Near 82 Cr Total till 2nd Friday Domestically

A week back released much awaited Hindi offering Jolly LLB 2 has completed its opening week on an excellent note and now heading smoothly to enter in 100 crore club very soon. Being superstar Akshay Kumar starrer and the second installment of the much appreciated franchise Jolly LLB, the latest one was released with huge buzz and as expected recorded amazing response of audience across the country.

With its good content and mind blowing performances of lead stars, Jolly LLB 2 has impressed all its viewers and getting favorable response from them. From critics also, the movie has received very positive reviews, which have generated strong word of mouth about it and made it to remain steady throughout the opening week.

In its opening weekend, Subhash Kapoor’s directorial witnessed immense excitement of audience and registered the business of 50.46 crores from Indian screens, which was including 13.20 crores of Friday, 17.31 crores of Saturday and 19.95 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, the movie faced usual drop but managed to remain steady and minted the amount of 7.26 crores on Monday, 9.07 crores on Tuesday, 5.89 crores on Wednesday and 5.03 crores on Thursday.

After the first week, total collection of Jolly LLB 2 was recorded as 77.71 crores, with which it has emerged as the 11th highest grossing movie of Akshay Kumar so far by surpassing the lifetime total of 2010’s Housefull (76 crores). Now the movie has entered in the second weekend and minted the amount of 4.14 crores on its 2nd Friday with 18% of drop, which has made its 8 days domestic total as 81.85 crores.
