Box Office: Kaabil 12th Day Collection, Surpasses Lifetime Total of Hrithik’s ZNMD

12 Days Total Domestic Collection of Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil

After the opening week, Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil still has good hold over the audience and heading smoothly on box office across the country. Despite the clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Raees, this drama action-thriller has showed fair performance and also emerged as Hrithik’s 4th highest grosser domestically after 12 days of its release.

Because of its strong content, youthful music and marvelous performances by the lead stars, the movie has impressed all the viewers. From critics as well as Bollywood celebrities, Kaabil has received very positive reviews and gained good word of mouth, which made it to remain steady on box office.

Due to higher hype of adjacent release Raees, Sanjay Gupta’s directorial Kaabil witnessed lesser occupancy than expected throughout the 9-days extended opening week and did the business of 82.18 crores from 2200 screens in India. This was including 67.46 crores of 5-days weekend (Wed 10.43cr, Thu 18.67cr, Fri 9.77cr, Sat 13.54cr, Sun 15.05cr) and 14.72 crores of weekdays (Mon 4.10cr, Tue 3.52cr, Wed 3.50cr, Thu 3.60cr).

Now the movie is running in its second week and reported impressive performance in this weekend. With 30% of drop than Thursday, Kaabil added the amount of 2.51 crores on 2nd Friday. On Saturday, with 60% of jump than previous day it managed to collect the amount of 4 crores.

Then on the next day i.e. Sunday, as expected Hrithik – Yami Gautam starrer reported more growth and minted the amount of 5.20 crores, which has made its total domestic collection after second weekend as 93.89 crores. With this, Kaabil has surpassed the lifetime total of Hrithik‘s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (90.27 crores) and emerged as his fourth highest grosser so far.
