12 Days Total Collection of Rajinikanth’s Kabali

Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu’s recent biggie, superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kabali is heading break free and has already grossed over 300 crores at worldwide box office in just 10 days. Being year’s biggest Tamil release so far, it has been released with enormous buzz among fans as well as moviegoers. As expected it witnessed overwhelmed response from audience across the globe in the opening weekend.

Unfortunately it received mixed reviews from critics, which didn’t affect its weekend performance. In weekdays it reported abrupt fall in its occupancy due to normal working days but still managed to register massive business total at the end of its first week. Undoubtedly Thalaiva has given brilliant performance in Kabali, also his co-star Radhika Apte has justified her character very well.

In its first week, Kabali did the business of total 149 crores across India with 110 crores of weekend and 39 crores of weekdays. From south India, it raked total 121 crores and 28 crores was contributed more rest of India including all three versions- Tamil, Telugu & Hindi. In its second weekend, the movie showed impressive growth in its business.

In the second weekend it did the business of total 29 crores across the country with 6 crores of Friday, 9.75 crores of Saturday and 13.25 crores of Sunday. After the weekend, total collection of Kabali was recorded as 178 crores with 146 crores from south and 32 crores from rest of India. From overseas market, it report 104 crores till 10th day of release.

Now Kabali once again running in weekdays and getting lesser occupancy than before. On Monday, it faced almost 35% of drop than last Friday and did the business of 5 crores across India. On Tuesday, it recorded more drop and added the amount of 4.25 crores with 3.70 crores from south and 0.55 crore from rest of India. With this, its 12 days total domestic collection has become 187.25 crores.
