Box Office: Kahaani 2 6th Day Collection, Crosses 22 Cr Total till Wednesday

Latest thriller offering from Bollywood, Kahaani 2 is getting average response on box office but performing better than the first movie of franchise Kahaani. Although the original one remained steady through out its lifetime due to positive word of mouth, and Kahaani 2 doesn’t seem to maintain such pace for long. As it has not received much positive reviews from critics, also from this Friday YRF’s Befikre is being released with good buzz among audience.

The movie has received mixed reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, because of predictable story and lack of thrill. But everyone appreciated the acting of Vidya and Arjun, who have given brilliant performances in Kahaani 2. Their fans are showing good interest toward the movie, also most of the audience reacted in favor of it. Even though its business rating is an average.

In the opening weekend, Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal starrer Kahaani 2 recorded average occupancy of 25-35% through out and registered the business of 16.97 crores, which included 4.25 crores of Friday, 5.79 crores of Saturday and 6.93 crores of Sunday. Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser occupancy in theaters.

On Monday, it reported almost 50% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 2.04 crores. Then on Tuesday, with further decline the movie added the amount of 1.96 crore to its account. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Kahaani 2 faced more drop and raked the business of 1.74 crore to make its 6 days domestic total as 22.71 crores on 1235 screens across India.
