3 Days Total Collection of Machine, Aa Gaya Hero & Trapped

New Hindi offerings of this week, Machine, Aa Gaya Hero and Trapped have remained dull throughout the opening weekend and disappointed everyone on box office. All the films got failed to attract audience towards theaters and performed lower than adjacent English release Beauty And The Beast & last week released romantic comedy Varun-Alia starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

The highest buzzed film among all three new offerings, Abbas-Mustan’s Machine has also not witnessed much response of audience and received overall negative reviews from critics. As a result, on a retrogressive note it did the business of 0.60 crore on Friday and 0.50 crore on Saturday.

On Sunday despite public holiday, Kiara Advani and debutant Mustafa starrer Machine reported limited growth and collected the amount of total 1.75 crore in the opening weekend with 0.65 crore on it’s third day. On the other hand, director Vikramaditya Motwane’s survival thriller Trapped has received very positive reviews from critics but wasn’t able to get much audience.

With low but increasing note, Rajkummar Rao starrer Trapped did the business of 0.29 crore of Friday (incl 0.03 crore of Thursday previews) and 0.47 crore of Saturday. With similar pace, the film has raked the amount of 1.45 crore in first weekend with 0.69 crore on Sunday. Last but not the least, Govinda’s comeback Aa Gaya Hero has come out in nothing but disappointment.

On a flat note, Aa Gaya Hero minted the amount of 0.25 crore on Friday & Saturday as well. On Sunday due to the support of fans, the film witnessed slight higher response on single screens and has done the business of total 0.75 crore over the weekend with 0.25 crore on Sunday. While English offering Beauty And The Beast has garnered the business of 6.67 crores in this weekend with 1.42 crore of Friday, 2.45 crores of Saturday and 2.80 crores of Sunday.
