2 Days Total Collection of Aa Gaya Hero, Machine & Trapped
This Friday released three new Hindi films Machine, Trapped and Aa Gaya Hero have reported dull opening on box office across the country. As predicted all received lesser response than the adjacent English release Beauty And The Beast, and also performed far lower than last week released Varun-Alia starrer romantic comedy Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Machine which was expected to take atleast an average start, unfortunately got failed to attract audience toward theaters. Also it has not received any favorable reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. On the opening day, this Kiara Advani and debutant Mustafa starrer recorded 15% of occupancy and did the business of only 0.60 crore.
On Saturday despite being weekend, Machine remained dull and collected the amount of 0.50 crore to make it’s 2 days total collection as 1.10 crore on domestic box office. On the other hand, Hindi cinema’s well known actor Govinda’s comeback action drama Aa Gaya Hero has also received negative reviews from critics and got failed to attract audience, specially in multiplexes.
On Friday with decent buzz among his fans, Aa Gaya Hero reported 5-10% of occupancy and raked the business of 0.25 crore. With almost similar response, the movie collected the same 0.25 crore on Saturday and to make 2 days domestic total as 0.50 crore from Indian screens.
The third one, Vikramaditya Motwane’s directorial Trapped received positive reviews from most of the critics, but isn’t able to attract much audience because of it’s genre. On the opening day, it recorded only 5% of occupancy and minted the amount of 0.29 crore (incl 0.03 crore of Thursday previews). Due to positive response, on Saturday with slight jump the movie has done the business of 0.47 crore and to make it’s 2 days domestic total as 0.76 crore.
