Box Office: Madaari 6th Day Collection, Earns 13.10 Cr Total across India

Very promising actors Irrfan Khan and Jimmy Sheirgill starrer recent Hindi offering Madaari is loosing all its hold over audience within the opening week only. It has been released with little buzz among audience and also has much awaited Rajinikanth starrer Kabali in opposite. So this kind of performance was already expected, the movie reported below average business in the opening weekend and witnessing very low occupancy in weekdays.

Despite brilliant performance of actors and positive reviews from critics, Madaari is not able to attract audience toward theaters. The adjacent one Kabali and Eid release Salman Khan’s Sultan, both the giants have diverted most of the audience toward themselves. This is the only reason behind, such slow performance of Madaari on box office.

In the opening weekend, it did the business of only 9.75 crores which included 2.25 crores of Friday, 3.50 crores of Saturday and 4 crores of Sunday. Whereas the Hindi version of Kabali registered around 17 crores. Even the two weeks old Sultan raked 11.09 crores in its third weekend.

Now Madaari is running in weekdays and being normal working days getting more lesser occupancy in theaters. On Monday, with almost 45% of drop than Friday it did the business of 1.25 crore. Then on Tuesday, it faced more drop and raked the business of 1.10 crore.

On Wednesday, it started the day with slight lesser occupancy and as per the report added the amount of 1 crore to its account. With this, total 6 days collection of Madaari has become 13.10 crores on domestic box office. The movie doesn’t seem to survive after its second week.
