10 Days Total Collection of Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro
Last week released Hindi epic-adventure movie Mohenjo Daro reported not so well business on Indian box office. Due to mixed reviews of critics as well as moviegoers, all its initial hype melted down in the opening weekend. Due to which it is witnessing disappointing response after that. Also the adjacent release Akshay Kumar’s Rustom caused much loss to it in the opening week.
Being superstar Hrithik Roshan starrer, Mohenjo Daro has been released with huge buzz among his fans as well as audience. But unfortunately due to its weak editing and CGI, it didn’t receive much positive reactions from viewers. As a result, it lagged far behind than Rustom and lost its hold over audience.
In the opening week, Mohenjo Daro reported an average occupancy through out across the country and did the business of 51.18 crores, including 30.55 crores of weekend and 20.63 crores of weekdays. From overseas market, it did little better business of 24.13 crores in the first week.
Now the movie is running in the second week and due to new releases, received lesser response in the weekend than expected. On its 2nd Friday, it faced almost 75% of drop than previous day and raked the business of 1.05 crore. Then on the next day being Saturday, it showed little rise in its business and collected 1.28 crore.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it reported little higher than last 2 days and estimated to added the amount of 1.55 crore to its account, With this total domestic collection of Mohenjo Daro till its 2nd weekend has become 55.06 crores. As compare to its whopping budget of 115 crores, the movie has marked as one of the biggest flops of the year so far.
