Box Office: Mohenjo Daro 2nd Day Collection, Shows Slight Rise on Saturday

2 Days Total Collection of Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro

Superstar Hrithik Roshan’s second collaboration with director/producer Ashutosh Gowariker, Mohenjo Daro has released on box office with good number of screens. Being year’s one of the most anticipated movies, it has been released with high expectations and buzz among fans as well as audience. As expected it received favorable reactions from viewers but unfortunately the movie got failure in satisfying critics and moviegoers.

As per critics, Hrithik & the debutante Pooja Hegde have given their best in Mohenjo Daro but their energy is not enough to make it entertaining. The slow execution of the movie pulls it back and creates boredom at several sequences. While fans and most of audience liked it and showing good craze. As per trade analysts, despite all the flaws Mohenjo Daro could do well on box office if it get released solo.

On the opening day, Ashutosh Gowariker’s one of the most ambitious ventures Mohenjo Daro recorded overall decent occupancy of 30-40% across the country and registered the 9th highest opening of the year with 8.87 crores. From overseas market, the movie reported quite good business of 6.82 crores which includes 3.15 crores of UAE-GCC alone.

On the second day, being Saturday this epic-adventure movie started with almost similar occupancy and witnessed slight rise till evening. As per the report it is estimated to add the amount of around 9.60 crores. With this, two days total collection of Mohenjo Daro will become 18.47 crores on domestic box office. It has to accelerate further for a reputed weekend total.
