10 Days Total Collection of MS Dhoni The Untold Story
Most awaited sports biopic of Indian cinema, MS Dhoni The Untold Story has showed tremendous run on box office and become the fourth highest grossing movie of the year so far after dominating the lifetime collection record of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 3.
Being highly anticipated movie, Neeraj Pandey’s directorial has been released with humongous hype among moviegoers as well as cricket fans. As expected it has received overwhelmed response of everyone and received super positive reviews from most of the critics.
In its first week, MS Dhoni The Untold Story recorded terrific occupancy through out and did the massive business of 94.13 crores, including 66 crores of weekend and 28.13 crores of weekdays. Now it is running in the second week and still remained very strong despite new Hindi releases.
On the second Friday, the movie faced 26% of drop than the previous day and raked the amount of 4.07 crores. Then on Saturday being weekend and due to strong word of mouth, this sports biopic reported good growth of 25% and collected the amount of 5.20 crores.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer reported more growth and added the amount of 5.90 crores to its account. With this total collection of MS Dhoni The Untold Story has become 109.30 crores and it has surpassed the lifetime total of Housefull 3 (103.14 crores) on domestic box office.
