Box Office: Naam Shabana 13th Day Collection, Taapsee Pannu’s Film Heading Steadily

India cinema’s first prequel to any franchise, Naam Shabana is about to complete it’s second week also and has showed almost decent performance so far. With the power packed acting of Taapsee Pannu, this heroine oriented film has impressed most of the viewers but got failed to impress all the critics, as some of them found it’s screenplay weak which spoiled the thrill.

Spin off story of 2015’s Baby, this mystery spy thriller also features superstar Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo, whose presence attracted much audience toward theaters. Because of his stardom, the film got succeed to rake reputed business at box office despite mixed reviews from critics.

In the opening week, Naam Shabana reported almost steady performance and did the business of 27.18 crores, which was including 18.76 crores of weekend with constant growth and 8.42 crores of weekdays. Now the film is running in it’s second week and passed the weekend again on a decent note.

In the second weekend, Shivam Nair’s directorial 5.37 crores with 1.07 crore of Friday, 1.88 crore of Saturday and 2.42 crores of Sunday. After 10 days of release, total collection of the film was recorded as 32.55 crores on domestic box office. Once again, Naam Shabana is in weekdays and getting lesser footfalls than before.

On 2nd Monday, it faced 29% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 0.76 crore. With further drop, the film minted the amount of 0.70 crore on Tuesday and 0.53 crore on the next day i.e. Wednesday. With this, total 13 days collection of the film has become 34.54 crores domestically.
