Naam Shabana 5 Days Total Collection on Domestic Box Office
With much expectation of fans as well as audience prequel to 2015’s super hit Baby, Naam Shabana has been released this week and as expected received favorable response from them. Taapsee Pannu starrer this mystery spy thriller started it’s journey on a decent note and witnessed constant growth over the opening weekend.
Shivam Nair’s directorial Naam Shabana also has superstar Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo, which is the major highlight of the movie. Because of his enormous stardom, the latest offering has received such decent opening and still heading with steady pace in weekdays.
On the opening day, filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s written this movie registered the opening of 5.12 crores across the country and dominated the opening records of last year released Vidya Balan’s Kahaani 2 (4.25 crores), Taapsee’s Pink (4.32 crores) and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja (4.70 crores).
With fair growth, Naam Shabana reported the business of 6.37 crores on Saturday and 7.27 crores on Sunday. After the opening weekend, total collection of the movie was recorded as 18.76 crores on domestic box office. Now it is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls in theaters than earlier.
On Monday, Taapsee starrer faced 49.60% of drop than Friday and managed to collect the amount of 2.54 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday due to holiday on account of Ram Navmi in half of India, Naam Shabana remained steady and minted the amount of 2.50 crores. With this, 5 days domestic total of the movie has become 23.80 crores.
