Box Office: Naam Shabana 8th Day Collection, Taapsee’s Spy Thriller Crosses 28 Cr Total with 2nd Friday

Taapsee Pannu’s much anticipated offering of the year, Naam Shabana has been passed it’s opening week on a decent note. Due to the extended cameo of superstar Akshay Kumar in the movie, it was released with much excitement of fans as well as audience and as expected registered a decent opening.

Audience found Naam Shabana thrilling and liked the power-packed performance given by Taapsee. Akshay who is the major highlight, got succeed to attract audience toward theaters. But unfortunately, the movie got failed to impress all the critics, as some of them have not found it up to the earlier expectations.

In the opening weekend, Shivam Nair’s directorial this mystery spy thriller reported constant growth and did the business of 18.76 crores, which was including 5.12 crores of Friday, 6.37 crores of Saturday and 7.27 crores of Sunday from around 2100 screens in India.

Then in weekdays, Naam Shabana faced ususal drop due to normal working days but still remained steady and raked the business of total 8.42 crores, with 2.54 crores of Monday, 2.50 crores of Tuesday (Ram Navmi), 1.80 crore of Wednesday and 1.58 crore of Thursday.

After the opening week, total collection of the movie was recorded as 27.18 crores on domestic box office. This is the strongest first week business done by any mid-budget movie in 2017. Now it has entered in the second week and has several new Hindi offerings plus Baahubali-The Beginning (re-release) in opposite.

On it’s 2nd Friday, Naam Shabana witnessed the fall of 32.3% than previous day and minted the amount of 1.07 crore. With this, it’s 8 days domestic total has become 28.25 crores. Neeraj Pandey’s this production venture is expected to remain decent in the second weekend too.
