Box Office: OK Jaanu 4th Day Collection, Shraddha-Adi starrer Fails to Impress Audience

OK Jaanu 4 Days Total Collection from India

Star filmmaker Karan Johar’s hindi remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil romantic drama OK Kanmani, OK Jaanu has been released this Friday on around 1400 screens across the nation. Being Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, the very much favorite jodi starrer, it had good pre-release buzz among audience. Even though the movie covered its opening weekend on an average note with limited growth.

OK Jaanu is the second collaboration of Shraddha & Adi after 2013’s musical hit Aashiqui 2, this was the reason everyone had good expectations with it. But nothing has come out in its favor, received mixed reviews from critics while Indian audience showing more interest towards Deepika Padukone’s debut Hollywood venture xXx Return of Xander Cage.

Shaad Ali’s directorial OK Jaanu started its box office journey with lesser occupancy than expected earlier and registered the average business of 4.08 crores domestically. On Saturday, it witnessed limited growth despite weekend and added the amount of 4.90 crores to its account.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, due to holiday it could get higher but #IndvEng cricket match had ruined its game. The movie received drop instead of growth and reported the business of 4.82 crores. After the opening weekend, total collection of OK Jaanu was recorded as 13.80 crores on domestic box office.

Now it has entered in weekdays and as expected faced abrupt drop in its occupancy on Monday. On its fourth day, OK Jaanu minted the amount of 1.95 crore and has made its 4 days domestic total as 15.75 crores. With such slow pace, it can collect around 20 crores only by this week.
