Box Office: OK Jaanu First Day Collection Prediction, Expected to take Decent Start

Expected Opening of Shraddha-Adi starrer OK Jaanu

Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s hit jodi, is all set to recreate the magic of love on silver screen with their second collaboration, OK Jaanu. After more than 3 years of musical hit Aashiqui 2, both are coming together in an official Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie OK Kanmani. Fans are very much excited with their comeback and creating huge buzz about the movie on social media as well as on field.

Shaad Ali’s directorial this romantic drama has received good hype because of its trailer. Also the music by legendary composer AR Rahman is being liked by listeners very much. With such pre-release response, critics are also showing positive hope for the movie. As per them, this time too the music can play an important role behind the success of Shraddha-Adi starrer, as it did earlier.

Shraddha-Adi’s last collaboration Aashiqui 2 was released in 2013 and started its journey on domestic box office with the decent business of 6.25 crores. While Shraddha’s previous releases like Baaghi & Rock On 2, did the opening business of 11.94 crores & 2.02 crores respectively. So it is quite difficult to predict the opening of OK Jaanu on the basis of her stardom.

Reportedly, star filmmaker Karan Johar’s (Dharma Productions) recent venture is releasing on decent number of screens, in association with Mani Ratnam’s production banner Madras Talkies. and has registered average advance booking so far but expected to receive around 40% of occupancy across the country on its opening day and can register higher opening than Aashiqui 2.
