Box Office: Phillauri 10th Day Collection, Crosses 25.50 Cr Total with 2nd Weekend

Last week released Phillauri passed it’s opening week decently across the country but faced abrupt drop from the second week due to much anticipated new offering Naam Shabana. Anushka Sharma’s second production venture after NH10, this romantic comedy opened on a better note than the previous one and received almost favorable response from audience.

Audience found Phillauri entertaining with a soulful love story but still some critics have not found it up to mark as per earlier expectations. As per them, all the actors in the movie have performed wonderfully, also the music is very pleasant but the slow screenplay pulled it back and creates boredom, especially as the climax.

In the opening weekend, Anshai Lal’s directorial recorded constant growth and did the decent business of 15.25 crores, which was including 4.02 crores of Friday, 5.20 crores of Saturday and 6.03 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, with usual drop it managed to collect the amount of 2.02 crores on Monday, 1.95 crore on Tuesday, 1.81 crore on Wednesday and 1.65 crore on Thursday.

After the opening week, total collection of Phillauri was recorded as 22.68 crores on domestic box office. Now the movie is running in it’s second week and remained decent in the weekend. On 2nd Friday with almost 58% of drop than previous day, it raked the business of 0.70 crore.

On Saturday due to weekend, Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma & Mehreen Pirzada starrer witnessed fair growth and added the amount of 1 crore to it’s account. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday with further growth, Phillauri minted the amount of 1.40 crore and made it’s 10 days domestic total as 25.78 crores.
