Box Office: Phillauri 4th Day Collection, Passes Monday Test on an Average Note

This Friday’s Hindi offering Phillauri has been completed it’s opening weekend on a decent note and reported an average performance on first Monday. Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada starrer this romantic comedy has received favorable response from audience and reported constant growth over the weekend.

Most of the audience has found Phillauri entertaining and reacted in it’s favor. But from critics the movie has received mixed reviews, as some of them have not found it up to the mark. As per critics, all the actors in lead roles have performed very well, also the music is very soulful but slow screenplay pulls it back.

Despite mixed reviews, Phillauri successfully enjoyed the school holidays season. On the opening day, it started the journey on a decent note and registered the business of 4.02 crores from approximately 1100 screens across the country. While Anushka’s previous production venture NH10 was opened with 3.35 crores.

On Saturday being weekend and due to favorable word of mouth, Phillauri witnessed growth of 30% and raked the business of 5.20 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e Sunday, it showed more growth and minted the amount of 6.03 crores. After the opening weekend, total collection of the movie was recorded as 15.25 crores.

Now Phillauri has entered in weekdays and asusual faced abrupt drop in footfalls due to normal working day. On Monday Anushka-Diljit starrer reported 50% of drop and added the amount of 2.02 crores to it’s account. With this, 4 days domestic total of the movie has become 17.27 crores.
