Box Office: Phillauri 5th Day Collection, Crosses 19 Cr Total in 5 Days of Release across India

5 Days Total Collection of Anushka-Diljit Starrer Phillauri

After a decent opening weekend Anushka Sharma’s second production venture after NH10, Phillauri is heading on an average note. This anticipated romantic comedy, was released on Friday and as expected started the journey on a decent note. After the weekend, the movie witnessed abrupt fall in it’s business graph but managed to have enough hold over the audience.

Because of it’s interesting trailer, soulful music and good scale promotions, Phillauri has got succeed in attracting audience toward theaters. With the wonderful performances given by lead actors, it has impressed everyone including critics. But some critics have not found it up to the mark because of slow screenplay, which resulted in mixed reviews.

Despite mixed reviews, Phillauri cashed the opening weekend decently. With overall 25% of occupancy across the country on around 1100 screens, it registered the business of 4.02 crores on Friday. With this, it has dominated the opening record of Anushka’s previous venture NH10, which was 3.35 crores.

Due to favorable word of mouth, Anshai Lal’s directorial showed constant growth over the weekend and minted the amount of 5.20 crores on Saturday and 6.03 crores of Sunday. After the opening weekend, total collection of the movie was recorded as 15.25 crores on domestic box office.

Now Phillauri is running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser footfalls in theaters than earlier. On Monday, it faced around 50% of drop than Friday and managed to collect the amount of 2.02 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, with slight more drop the movie added the amount of 1.95 crore to it’s account and made 5 days domestic total as 19.22 crores.
