Box Office: Pink 17th Day Collection, Grosses 100 Cr Total Worldwide

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang & Angad Bedi starrer, the very strong social thriller Pink has registered excellent business in last two weeks and still heading steadily on box office despite M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story. This shows how much it has impressed audience, which keeps it going well.

Now the movie is running in the third week and still has enough hold over audience. Reportedly it has surpassed the lifetime of Mohenjo Daro (57.92 crores) and Udta Punjab (60.30 crores) on domestic box office. In the opening week, Pink witnessed terrific response and did the business of 35.91 crores including 21.51 crores of weekend and 14.40 crores of weekdays.

In the second week, despite several fresh Hindi releases it remained the first choice of audience and registered the total business of 21.87 crores with 15.21 crores of weekend and 6.66 crores of weekdays. After 2 weeks, total domestic collection of Pink was recorded as 57.78 crores.

In its third week, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial has highly awaited M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story. Despite this it remained steady in the weekend and minted the amount of 1.08 crore on Friday & 1.35 crore on Saturday. On the last day of weekend i.e Sunday, the movie reported little more higher and added the amount of 1.62 crore to its account.

With this total collection of Pink till its third weekend has become 61.83 crores net / 85.87 crores* gross on domestic box office. From overseas market, the movie has reported quite good business of 16 crores and made its worldwide gross total as 101.87 crores.
