Box Office Prediction: ‘Srimanthudu’ (Selvandhan) Expected Total & 1st Day Collection

Latest romantic drama Telugu movie Srimanthudu is releasing today worldwide starring very popular South Indian star Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. It is directed by Koratala Siva and produced jointly by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Mahesh Babu is also the co-producer of the movie. Srimanthudu is originally made in Telugu language and releasing in Tamil (dubbed) also with title Selvandhan.

The movie based on a very interesting concept, it is story of a millionaire who adopts an entire village to help bring change to the entire town. It is having good hype among South Indian audience as it is featuring their favorite star Mahesh Babu. The advance ticket booking of the movie was started from Sunday and received wonderful response. As per the report, almost all the shows of Srimanthudu in Andhra Pradesh are houseful for the whole weekend. Fans are looking very much excited for the movie and creating huge buzz of it on social media.

As per critics, Srimanthudu is very entertaining and a ‘worth watch‘ movie and will definitely get added in the list of Tollywood’s Blockbuster movies. Advance booking reports are saying, that the movie will get overall occupancy of more than 90% in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & nearby regions for its Telugu version. The first day collection of Srimanthudu would be around 11 – 12 crores* from its Indian screens. Talking about its lifetime collection then it is expected to be in between 70 – 80 crores* at Indian box office.
