Audience will go for Rustom or Mohenjo Daro?

This can be considered as the biggest clash of Bollywood in this year so far ‘Rustom Vs Mohenjo Daro’. Both the movies have good buzz among audience and releasing on the same day 12th of August worldwide. Earlier Shahrukh Khan’s Raees was supposed to be clashed with Salman Khan’s Sultan on Eid but later it has been delayed for next year.

Rustom Vs Mohenjo Daro

Superstar Akshay Kumar starrer suspense thriller Rustom is year’s one of the much awaited movies, features Ileana D’cruz in a female lead opposite to him. It is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Neeraj Pandey’s Plan C Studios and Zee Studios  in association with KriArj Entertainment & Cape of Good Films. This deadly combination of Akshay Kumar & Neeraj Pandey has already given super hit thrillers like Special 26 & Baby.

On the other hand, Mohenjo Daro is also a much awaited epic adventure-romantic movie of the year, features Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan and debutante Pooja Hegde. It is directed and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker in association with UTV Motion Pictures. Hrithik & Ashutosh had already together in Jodha Akbar and back with another grand venture.

Official trailer of Mohenjo Daro was released on June 20 and received 10.5 million views. Whereas Rustom trailer was released on June 29 and also has almost 10.5 million views till the date July 10. The response of viewers makes Rustom trailer more favorite and shows that audience is more excited for Rustom over Mohenjo Daro.

Makers of Mohenjo Daro have released its complete music album on July 5, which is composed by the legend A.R. Rahman but not getting much response from listeners. The song ‘Tu Hai’ from the movie was released on July 5 has received almost 2.5 million views in 4 days, whereas the song ‘Tere Sang Yaara’ of Rustom was released on the same day, has received 3 million views.

As per report, Akshay Kumar’s Rustom will be released on more than 2500 screens across the country, whereas Mohenjo Daro has around 2000 screens. All these stats, point toward the victory of Rustom. Audience seems more eager to watch Akshay back in serious role over the ancient love story of Hrithik Roshan. Let see what will happen actually on box office after their release, but so far Rustom is leading.
