In its 5-days extended opening weekend, Red Chillies Entertainment & Excel Entertainment’s recent collaboration Raees had reported excellent occupancy throughout and did the business of 93.24 crores, which has included 20.42 crores of Wednesday, 26.30 crores of Thursday, 13.11 crores of Friday, 15.61 crores of Saturday and 17.80 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, asusual the movie witnessed lesser audience in theaters than weekend but managed to maintain a decent pace. On Monday, Raees raked the amount of 6.25 crores with around 65% of drop than Sunday. With further declination, it minted the amount of 5.52 crores on Tuesday but raked 7.10 crores on Wednesday and 6.25 crores on Thursday with some growth.

After 9-days extended opening week, total collection of SRK starrer was recorded as 118.36 crores on domestic box office from 2700 screens.  Now the movie has entered in its second week and has newly release Kung Fu Yoga in opposite along with already existing Kaabil.

On its 2nd Friday, Raees faced almost 55% of growth than previous day and added the amount of 2.80 crores to its account, which has made its 10 days domestic total as 121.16 crores and emerged as the fourth highest grosser of SRK by surpassing 2012’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan (120.85 crores).
