Box Office: Raees 12th Day Collection, SRK’s Film Earns Near 130 Cr Total till 2nd Weekend

12 Days Total Collection of Shahrukh Khan’s Raees

Superstar Shahrukh Khan’s recent offering Raees showed excellent performance in its 9-days extended opening week and still had good hold over the audience across the country. Despite the clash with Hrithik Roshan’s much anticipated Kaabil, this crime action-thriller remained the first choice of audience due to its huge initial buzz.

Being year’s one of the much awaited movies, Raees was released last week with enormous hype among SRK’s fans and as expected witnessed terrific response on box office. The movie has also received favorable reviews from most of critics as well as moviegoers, which made it to perform excellently.

In the first week, Rahul Dholakia’s directorial recorded higher response than the opposite release Kaabil throughout and did the excellent business of 118.36 crores. This was including 93.24 crores of 5-days weekend (Wed 20.42cr, Thu 26.30cr, Fri 13.11cr, Sat 15.61cr, Sun 17.80cr) and 25.12 crores of weekdays (Mon 6.25cr, Tue 5.52cr, Wed 7.10cr, Thu 6.25cr).

Now the movie is running in its second week and reported good growth in this weekend. On 2nd Friday, Raees showed slight jump in its business graph and minted the amount of 2.80 crores. On Saturday with almost 42% of growth, it managed to collect the amount of 4 crores.

Then on the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, Red Chillies Entertainment & Excel Entertainment’s recent collaboration Raees done the business of 4.75 crores with 18% of growth and made its total domestic collection after second weekend as 129.91 crores.
