Box Office: Raees 6th Day Collection, SRK starrer Enters in 100 Cr Club Domestically

6 Days Total Collection of ‘Raees’ across India

Year’s first biggie Raees has taken more days than expected but finally a step away to enter in 100 crore club on domestic box office. Being superstar Shahrukh Khan starrer, the movie has been released with enormous hype across the country as well as overseas and as expected received favorable response from most of the viewers. Despite the clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, this crime action-thriller has cashed its 5-days extended weekend thoroughly.

Audience found Raees entertaining and showed thumbs up to it. From most of the critics also, it has received positive reviews and as a result gained good word of mouth. Everyone praised the brilliant performances shown by lead stars Shahrukh Khan & Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Leading lady Mahira khan has also impressed viewers with her charm.

On the opening day, Rahul Dholakia’s directorial recorded excellent occupancy and did the business of 20.42 crores, which is the fourth highest opening of SRK’s career so far. On the second day, due to holiday on account of Republic Day and favorable reactions from viewers, Raees added the amount of 26.30 crores to its account.

On Friday, it faced heavy drop in its occupancy due to normal working day but still managed to collect good amount of 13.11 crores. Then with usual weekend growth the movie minted the amount of 15.61 crores on Saturday and 17.80 crores on Sunday. After 5-days opening weekend, total domestic collection of Raees was recorded as 93.24 crores.

Now Shahrukh Khan starrer has entered in weekdays and getting lesser audience in theaters than weekend. On Monday, it reported almost 65% of drop than previous day and done the business of 6.25 crores, which has made its 6 days total collection as 99.49 crores from Indian screens.
