Box Office: Raees & Kaabil 16th Day Collection, Complete 2nd Week on a Decent Note

16 Days Total Collection of Raees & Kaabil

Couple of weeks back released two much awaited movies Raees and Kaabil have completed the journey of two weeks at box office on overall good note. Both have received favorable response from audience but faced much loss in business because of this clash.

In the 9-days extended opening week, superstar Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees remained the first choice of audience and did the excellent business of 118.36 crores from 2700 screens across the country. This was including 93.24 crores of 5-days opening weekend and 25.12 crores of weekdays.

In the second week, Rahul Dholakia’s directorial witnessed some drop in its pace but still managed to add decent business total to its account. In second weekend, Raees minted the amount of 11.55 crores including 2.80 crores of Friday, 4 crores of Saturday and 4.75 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, as usual it got lesser footfall in theaters than before and raked the business of 1.47 crore on Monday, 1.28 crore on Tuesday and 1.10 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Raees registered the business of 1 crore and made its 2 weeks domestic total as 134.76 crores.

While on the other hand, superstar Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil has also performed well in the 9-days opening week. It did the business of 82.18 crores in the first week from 2200 screens in India, which was including 67.46 crores of weekend and 13.72 crores of weekdays.

In the second week, Sanjay Gupta’s directorial reported slightly higher business than SRK’s Raees and raked the business of 11.71 crores with 2.51 crores of Friday, 4 crores of Saturday and 5.20 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, asusual the movie reported lesser occupancy in theaters than before but managed to remain almost decent. Kaabil has added the amount of 1.50 crore on Monday, 1.33 crore on Tuesday, 1.25 crore on Wednesday and 1.30 crore on Thursday. With this, its 2 weeks domestic total has become 99.27 crores.
