3 Days Total Collection of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali Hindi (Re-released)

For giving more boost to the enormous pre-release hype of upcoming Baahubali 2 in north India, which is scheduled to be released on 28th of April worldwide, distributors Anil Thadani and Karan Johar have released the first installment of the franchise Baahubali again at box office in Hindi under the banners AA Films and Dharma Productions.

Re-released Baahubali Total Collection

This is the smart initiative taken by them and it will definitively result in positive. In 2015, Baahubali was released with 1500 Hindi screens and now in the 2nd inning, it has record number of 1000 screens across the country. With this, it has emerged as the widest re-release of Indian cinema so far.

On the opening day, SS Rajamouli’s this magnum opus started it’s journey on decent note recorded overall 15% of occupancy and did the business of 0.75 crore. On Saturday, due to weekend the movie witnessed fair growth of around 50% than previous day and added the amount of 1.10 crore to it’s account.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, Baahubali reported more growth and minted the amount of 1.35 crore. With this, opening weekend total collection of the movie has become 3.15 crores on domestic box office. The recorded business is decent enough, as the main purpose of re-release is to roll out the red carpet for upcoming Baahubali 2.
