16 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom
Neeraj Pandey’s latest thriller Rustom is getting overwhelmed response from audience across the country and after 2 weeks at box office, it has enough occupancy in theaters. Despite fresh releases, it is heading strongly and has become the third highest grossing movie of the year and superstar Akshay Kumar’s career so far.
In the first week, Rustom reported excellent occupancy and raked the business of 90.90 crores on domestic box office, including 50.42 crores of weekend and 40.48 crores of weekdays. Despite Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro, Akshay starrer enjoyed terrific response on box office and successfully dominated the opposite one with good difference.
In the next week, it had Happy Bhag Jayegi in opposite which undoubtedly performing well on box office but didn’t affect the performance of Rustom. In the second week too it remained strong and did the business of 26.11 crores including 17.12 crores of weekend and 8.99 crores of weekdays.
After two weeks, total collection of Tinu Suresh Desai’s directorial thriller drama was recorded as 117.01 crores on domestic box office and 36+ crores from overseas market. Now the movie is once again running in the weekend and getting good response despite new release A Flying Jatt. Reportedly its shows have been increased in the third week.
On its third Friday, it faced more than 50% of drop as compare to Thursday and minted 1.29 crore. On Saturday being weekend, Rustom received higher response than previous day and added the amount of 1.89 crore to its account. With this, total 16 days domestic collection of the movie has become 120.19 crores across India.
