Box Office: Rustom 21st Day Collection, Crosses 124.50 Cr Total in 3 Weeks

21 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom

Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’cruz, Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa starrer thriller drama Rustom has enjoyed excellent performance in its opening week. After that despite fresh releases, it remained strong and registered decent business on box office across the country. In fact not only in country but from overseas market too, it reported quite impressive performance.

Superstar Akshay Kumar has received huge appreciation for his brilliant acting in Rustom. Ileana D’cruz, Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa also done very well and left good impact. Due to gripping story and profound performances, the movie received very positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers.

In the opening week, Rustom witnessed overwhelmed response and did year’s second highest opening week business of 90.90 crores on domestic box office, which included 50.42 crores of weekend and 40.48 crores of weekdays. The in the second week, despite new Hindi release Happy Bhag Jayegi, it reported decent business of 26.11 crores with 17.12 crores of weekend and 8.99 crores of weekdays.

In the third week, Tinu Suresh Desai’s directorial had Tiger Shroff’s A Flying Jatt in opposite, but still it remained steady and collected 5.27 crores in the weekend; 1.29 crore on Friday, 1.89 crore on Saturday and 2.09 crores on Sunday. In weekdays, asusual the movie received lesser occupancy and minted 0.69 crore on Monday, 0.61 crore on Tuesday and 0.58 crore on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it recorded slightly more lesser response and added the amount of 0.56 crore to its account. With this total 3 weeks collection of Rustom has become 124.72 crores on domestic box office. Now it seems little difficult for the movie to surpass the lifetime total of Airlift (128.10 crores), let see what will happen.
