Box Office: Rustom 6th Day Collection, Crosses 82 Cr Total till Wednesday

6 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom

Tinu Suresh Desai’s recent directorial thriller drama Rustom is enjoying terrific response on box office across the globe. Being superstar Akshay Kumar and ace filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s another collaboration, it has been released with enormous buzz among fans as well as audience and as expected witnessed tremendous business in the opening weekend.

Audience liked Rustom very much and showing huge thumbs up for it. The movie has received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers, which generated good word of mouth about it and helping to hold well in weekdays too. Everyone is praising Akshay and his co-stars for giving brilliant performances.

In the weekend Rustom reported excellent occupancy through out and did the total business of 50.42 crores including 14.11 crores of Friday, 16.43 crores of Saturday and 19.88 crores of Sunday. With this, it has registered the fourth highest opening weekend collection of the year so far after Sultan (180.36 crores), Housefull 3 (53.31 crores) & Fan (52.35 crores).

Now it is running in weekdays but being holiday on Monday due to India’s 70th Independence Day, Rustom remained very strong and minted the amount of 17.81 crores. Then on Tuesday, asusual it faced almost 46% of drop than Friday but still maintained a good pace and raked the business of 7.67 crores.

On Wednesday the movie recorded more drop and added the amount of 6.38 crores to its account. With this, total 6 days collection of Rustom has become 82.28 crores on domestic box office. It is likely to collect near about 88 crores across India in the first week.
