Sachin A Billion Dreams 5 Days Total Collection from Indian Screens
The much anticipated biopic of legend Sachin Tendulkar is running successfully at box office across the country as well as overseas. Sachin- A Billion Dreams was released this Friday with huge excitement of fans as well as audience and got overwhelmed response from everyone including critics.
Despite being a docu-drama and released in Ramzaan month, the movie reported excellent weekend at domestic box office and still has good hold over the audience in weekdays. Despite existing Half Girlfriend, Hindi Medium and Baahubali 2, it is performing very well.
Sachin A Billion Dreams started the journey on a good note and registered the seventh highest opening of the year in Hindi Cinema so far. In the opening weekend, it fetched the business of total 28.05 crores from 2400 screens across the country including Hindi, English, Tami, Telugu and Marathi versions.
The weekend total of the movie included, 8.60 crores of Friday, 9.20 crores of Saturday and 10.25 crores of Sunday. Now it is running in weekdays and witnessed abrupt fall in footfalls due to normal working days. On Monday, James Erskine’s directorial managed to collect the decent amount of 4.20 crores with around 49% of drop than Friday.
On the next day i.e. Tuesday, Sachin A Billion Dreams recorded more dip and minted the amount of 3.50 crores. With this, it’s 5 days domestic total has become 35.75 crores. Reportedly from overseas market too, the movie is doing well.
